Beck's Arts Express

For more than a decade, I developed and operated an art studio called Beck's Arts Express. The studio had a modest start, in a small area of my unfinished basement. Over time, it grew to become a thriving center in an 1100 sq ft rented studio. Through the years, I worked with hundreds of students offering camps, workshops, classes, and events. I also served as a contractor for local towns and organizations.

Boys & Girls Club

During my time at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua, I served as their Cultural Arts DIrector. I worked with staff and volunteers to ensure that Club Members had access to high quality arts programming. During that time, I hosted a regional arts show for the Northeast Region of the United States, became a National Trainer for the Arts for Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and created a two day regional arts conference that attracted over 100 youth from throughout the Northeast.

                Creative Arts for Kids

For several years, I served as Art Coordinator at Creative Arts for Kids in Reading Massachusetts. Creative Arts is a non-profit community school for art, music, and theater.  In this role, my responsibilities included oversight of the arts program, organizing exhibits, marketing the program to the community, collaborating with local businesses and organizations, oversight of faculty, budget oversight, and acting as Camp Director securing all licenses. In my time at Creative Arts, I also organized thier annual Arts Fair, an event which required over a hundred volunteer participants, and which required me to solicit in-kind donations and sponsorships from local businesses.
